Fifty-five lion sculptures brought £75,000 (approximately $117,135) at auction as part of Pride in Bournemouth, a public arts event in the UK that raises money for charity. The Westover Land Rover lion, Born to Be Free, went under the hammer for £1,000 (approximately $1,560) which will help Born Free Foundation to fund lion-proof settlements in Kenya.
